Make the distinction.
Some relationships cannot continue in a form that fits both people’s wishes or safety. A spiritual narrative must not overrule that reality. Where practical arrangements are shared, clarity about responsibilities can matter without requiring emotional closeness.
An everyday example.
Someone decides not to continue a relationship after repeated boundary violations. They can communicate the decision at an appropriate level and keep necessary arrangements clear. They are not obliged to keep debating until the other person agrees.
A practice you can choose.
State your decision and the contact or practical arrangements you choose. Keep your right to stop the conversation visible.
You may adapt or decline the exercise. No personal disclosure, submission or agreement with an interpretation is required.
Babylon’s reading context.
Babylon’s love teaching uses energy as devotional and experiential language, not a measured physical quantity. Vav describes heaven and earth joining in a lived expression of care. Intensity alone does not establish a divine relationship. The seventh room, Lamed’s Mirror, offers questions about our own learning; it does not make another person an instrument of our growth. Mutual willingness, privacy and the freedom to leave remain part of the practice.
Take the question into a deeper reading.
