QUESTIONS OF FAITH · TEN COMPANIONSYeshua & the gospel way
Meet the teaching through conduct, context and the freedom to ask.
These companions introduce Babylon’s reading of Yeshua and point into its existing gospel library. A named gospel, a later spiritual synthesis and a present-day exercise have different roles. We do not treat an original Babylon example as words spoken by Jesus. The measure of a practice here is whether it supports truth, care and agency in a real situation. A reader can compare interpretations without being assigned a lesser spiritual worth.
Yeshua & the gospel wayYeshua is at the devotional centre of Babylon’s teaching. This library connects that devotion with gospel reading, personal responsibility and acts of care rather than treating a spiritual title as permission to control others.
Read the companion ↗Yeshua & the gospel wayIn this library, Jesus and Yeshua refer to the same central figure of Christian scripture and devotion. Babylon commonly uses Yeshua; using another familiar name is not a test of someone’s spiritual worth.
Read the companion ↗Yeshua & the gospel wayIn Babylon’s reading, neighbour-love becomes a concrete act that respects another person’s voice and circumstances. It does not require unlimited access to your time, body, resources or private life.
Read the companion ↗Yeshua & the gospel wayBabylon uses inward kingdom language to ask how understanding becomes a lived choice. It is an interpretive emphasis, not permission to ignore the wording, setting or translation questions of a gospel passage.
Read the companion ↗Yeshua & the gospel wayBabylon connects following Yeshua with truthful speech, care and freely chosen responsibility. An ordinary action can carry devotion without becoming a performance of spiritual superiority.
Read the companion ↗Yeshua & the gospel wayFear does not make you a failed learner. Babylon’s gospel practice invites a truthful description of what you feel, what you know and which supportive next step is available.
Read the companion ↗Yeshua & the gospel wayBegin with a named work and the voice it actually preserves. Babylon’s library includes studies of Mary and Sophia, while keeping those works distinct from one another and from a reader’s modern interpretation.
Read the companion ↗Yeshua & the gospel wayBabylon does not make reconciliation a condition of a survivor’s dignity or care. Forgiveness, restored trust and renewed access to a relationship are different questions that should not be collapsed.
Read the companion ↗Yeshua & the gospel wayBabylon asks how resources are used, how decisions affect others and what responsibility can be chosen. A bank balance alone does not establish someone’s moral identity, divine favour or rejection.
Read the companion ↗Yeshua & the gospel wayUse three steps: locate the passage, name the interpretation and choose one modest action. Babylon’s example is a learning aid; it should not be presented as an additional sentence spoken by Yeshua.
