Tet · Lion: Summer, Heart and Expression

Express and sustain. Bring capacity into visible action while caring for the effect your expression has on others.

What does Tet · Lion mean?

In Babylon’s language, Tet is the Heart. The seasonal cycle pairs ט Tet with the Lion, the Leo chamber and summer. Its movement is expression: bringing what you can offer into the world.

The teaching connects confidence with care. Expression becomes useful through what it gives, what it makes clear and what it can continue to carry.

Give your gifts a form of expression

A gift becomes visible through an action: singing a song, teaching a skill, making something, speaking honestly or taking responsibility for a piece of shared work. Ask what is ready to be expressed and what kind of practice will sustain it.

Confidence can grow through repetition. Choose a scale that leaves room for attention, rest and response. Listen to how your work is received so that expression can become a relationship rather than a performance alone.

The Lion within the seasonal quarter

Tet’s fixed chamber belongs within the northern summer quarter. It is distinct from the June solstice. The clock lets you explore the Sun’s passage through the chamber and compare it with the Moon and the other classical planetary carriers.

Measured positions change with the selected date. The Heart and expression language belongs to Babylon’s teaching alongside those calculations.

A question for the Heart

What are you ready to express, and what can you sustain?

Choose one expression that is yours to give. Decide how often you can offer it with care. Consider who receives it and what responsibility comes with that relationship. The next movement, Nun · Eagle, asks what can be completed or released when a form has reached its limit.
