Vav · Bull: Spring, Form and Commitment

What does Vav · Bull mean in Babylon Seasons?

Vav is the Hebrew letter paired here with the Bull and the Taurus chamber. In the four-season cycle, it belongs to spring and the movement of forming. The teaching asks what is ready to begin and what support that beginning will need.

A beginning may be a relationship, a creative practice, a home, a garden or a change in how you use your time. Form makes an intention concrete enough to meet daily life.

From an intention to a commitment

Choose one intention and describe the smallest form that could hold it. For a garden, that might be a prepared bed and a watering routine. For creative work, it might be a regular place and time. For a relationship, it might be an honest conversation followed by an agreement you can keep.

The question is practical: what deserves care, and what can you sustain? A form should support the life inside it. It can be revised when experience shows that it needs a different shape.

Spring and the calculated sky

The seasonal view follows the Sun’s passage through Vav alongside other planetary positions and lunar comparison windows. The Bull’s fixed chamber sits within the northern spring quarter; its passage does not begin at the March equinox.

Use the cycle selector to explore another year. The sky provides the selected time and measured positions; the forming theme supplies the reflective question.

A question to carry into the day

What is ready to begin, and what support will it need?

Name the beginning. Identify one resource it needs. Choose one action that gives it form. You can then follow the cycle into Tet · Lion, where the question becomes how to express and sustain what has taken shape.
