Four of Swords · Rest for the mind

Rest for the mind through thought and language: Station 4, Chesed, in Yetzirah.

Understand the idea

A pause can give an overworked account room to settle. Opening space for rest is different from leaving a necessary question permanently unanswered. In Babylon’s numbered-card address, Four identifies Station 4, Chesed, and Swords identifies Yetzirah, the lens of thought and language. The current daily action word is OPEN. The card image’s theme and the station’s action word provide two related teaching prompts; they are not interchangeable definitions.
