The Moon · reflection

The Moon represents reflection; its forward arc from the Sun selects the primary collective station.

Understand the idea

Use the Moon’s position at the same instant as the Sun and the other bodies. Record its chamber, degree, and phase. Because the Moon moves quickly, mixing timestamps changes the reading. Babylon’s station calculation uses a forward ecliptic arc, which is different from the shortest angular separation used for aspects.

MAKE IT PRACTICAL

An example to work with

At exact Sun–Moon conjunction, the forward arc is defined as zero within the chosen tolerance, giving Station 1.
