Tarot: return to your own mirror

A Babylon practice for bringing a symbolic reading back to your own attention, words, boundaries and freely chosen next step.

Stop reading someone else’s energy

This is Babylon’s direct instruction: stop using tarot to read another person’s energy and turn the mirror inward. The practice below concerns your own perspective and choices. A natural sense of connection can be acknowledged without using a card to claim access to someone else’s private experience.

Begin with your own question

Choose a situation in which you have an action to consider. You can use a card image, a written word or no object at all. This exercise does not require drawing a new card or entering a birth profile. It asks what you notice in yourself and what you freely choose, in devotion to the Father and Yeshua.

1 · Name an observable event

Write what happened in ordinary words. For example: My message has not received a reply. Keep the event separate from a claim such as they secretly resent me.

2 · Notice the image and your response

If you use a card, describe its visible elements and the thought or feeling it brings up for you. The image is a prompt for your reflection; it does not disclose an absent person’s private state.

3 · Separate what you know from what you imagine

Put an observation on one line and your possible explanation on another. Add at least one different explanation. An unanswered message might reflect a busy day, a preference not to reply or something you do not know.

4 · Bring the question through the four Worlds

In Babylon’s method: Wands / Atziluth — what do I intend? Cups / Beriah — what am I feeling? Swords / Yetzirah — what am I thinking or saying? Pentacles / Assiah — what action can I actually take? These are Babylon’s adopted lenses, not evidence about someone else’s energy.

5 · Choose a boundary or an action

A possible response is to wait, ask one clear question where contact is welcome, stop repeated messages or choose distance. You do not need to know a person’s hidden feelings in order to respect their answer or decide what is workable for you.

6 · Review without judgement of your worth

Return later and record what happened. A mistaken interpretation can be revised. If you shared an unsupported claim, correct it. The aim is greater perspective and a useful next step, with your dignity and the other person’s sovereignty intact.

An optional private worksheet

Use the fields below or write on paper. This worksheet has no submit action and does not send or save your answers. Avoid entering someone else’s identifying or private information. Your browser may temporarily retain text while the page stays open; clear the fields or close the tab when finished.

Your reflection

A return is available

Using a method differently is a change in practice, not a permanent identity. Babylon’s inward turn does not ask you to deny someone else’s harmful conduct or accept mistreatment. You can acknowledge your own part, seek support and choose distance while leaving another person responsible for their own actions.

Learning in the Light

In Babylon, the Father’s light opens perspective, learning and a chosen next step. Your worth remains intact. Every person is sovereign, with dignity, freedom and room to grow.
