Make the distinction.
Speak about an action, a consequence and a boundary you can explain. Avoid turning an interpretation into a diagnosis or an identity of permanent badness. The other person can answer, disagree or choose distance; clarity does not entitle you to control the response.
An everyday example.
A friend says that a repeated joke is hurtful and asks that it stop. They do not need to identify the speaker’s soul, planet or hidden wound. The request concerns behaviour that can actually change.
A practice you can choose.
Draft one sentence about what happened and one about what you need next. Remove insults and unsupported claims about motives.
You may adapt or decline the exercise. No personal disclosure, submission or agreement with an interpretation is required.
Babylon’s reading context.
Babylon’s love teaching uses energy as devotional and experiential language, not a measured physical quantity. Vav describes heaven and earth joining in a lived expression of care. Intensity alone does not establish a divine relationship. The seventh room, Lamed’s Mirror, offers questions about our own learning; it does not make another person an instrument of our growth. Mutual willingness, privacy and the freedom to leave remain part of the practice.
Take the question into a deeper reading.
Keep the conversation open.
