David, Solomon and Wisdom
Explore kingship, discernment, love and the twelve rooms of the heart through connected reading guides.
One journey, several voices
Begin with David’s house and Solomon’s request for discernment. Then listen to Wisdom, Qoheleth and the lovers of the Song. Babylon’s authored readings bring these themes into questions about light, dwelling and life in the twelve rooms. Each guide identifies when it is describing a passage and when it is introducing the author’s interpretation.
David sings; Solomon seeks; Yeshua brings it into life
The author’s Gates teaching reads David’s songs as inward experience, Solomon’s wisdom as learning through embodied life, and Yeshua as the example of carrying understanding forward through conduct. This is Babylon’s spiritual synthesis. It does not establish that every Psalm was written by David or that lost ancient songs have been recovered. The modern chamber songs make the inward journey available as an authored work in its own right.
Hear the letters and the planets in their own roles
In the saved Gates teaching, Saturn structures, Jupiter expands, Mars opens doors, Venus connects and Mercury communicates. The current protocol retains Bet / Saturn, Gimel / Jupiter, Dalet / Mars, Peh / Venus and Resh / Mercury as the five moving rulers, with Sun and Moon treated separately. The twelve simple-letter chambers describe fields of experience. A ruler’s nature and the chamber it moves through are two different parts of the reading. A person keeps the freedom to choose how to act.
