Every person is sovereign.

Every person is sovereign. Each reader keeps their own judgement, dignity, and freedom of choice. Teaching offers room to question an interpretation, disagree, and choose a considered action.

A connected language of study

In Babylon’s devotional foundation, the Father is the source and Yeshua is at the centre of the teaching. The learning map brings several structures into a shared language. Its usefulness depends on understanding what each structure contributes. Begin with a letter, follow its path, and then explore a chamber or paired Gate when the question calls for that additional layer.

Three families within twenty-two letters

The letter classification names three Mothers, seven Doubles, and twelve Simples: 3 + 7 + 12 = 22. Aleph, Mem, and Shin are the Mothers, associated with Air, Water, and Fire. The Doubles form the seven-letter family used in Babylon’s broader planetary map. The Simples connect to the twelve zodiac chambers in the library’s adopted teaching. These family names describe different groups of letters.

Ten stations and twenty-two paths

The Tree directory provides ten fixed stations and twenty-two letter corridors between them. The opening ten-and-twenty-two structure of Sefer Yetzirah is a textual starting point; the public book guide identifies the selected edition and passages. Babylon’s named action words and card connections belong to the teaching framework used here. The corridor labels run from Path 11 through Path 32. Path 32 is one corridor, not a statement that there are thirty-two different letter corridors.

Follow Lamed through two addresses

As a Simple letter, Lamed leads to Libra / The Mirror: a chamber question about what you learn through another person and what you take on. As a fixed path, Lamed is Path 22 / Justice, connecting Gevurah and Tiferet. A teacher can ask the learner to describe a relationship example, then distinguish the chamber question from the connection between the fixed stations. Both addresses can contribute without replacing one another.

Keep a card title distinct from a planetary role

Kaf is a Double letter with a solar correspondence in Babylon’s adopted broader table. Its Major card image is The Wheel of Fortune on Path 21. The Sun card belongs to Resh / Path 30, while Resh is associated with Mercury in the current ruler language. These labels identify different layers. A learner who can explain this example is less likely to merge a card title with a planetary assignment.

Add a station and a World

A numbered Minor supplies a station number and a suit World. Three of Pentacles identifies Station 3 / Binah / FORM in Assiah / material action. Paired with The Magician, it asks what practical form would let an intention do useful work. Court ranks are a separate layer: a Page is not a station number, and the daily station rule does not select a court rank.

Use the directory as a learning route

Find one letter in the twenty-two-letter directory. State its family, read its lesson, and open its linked Tree path. Identify the two stations and the card image. Then explain the movement in ordinary language. If a paired Gate helps the question, name it as an additional two-letter structure. Close with one example that a beginner can restate and one action they can review.
