Five lenses for studying a Gate
Study one letter pairing through inner experience, relationship, discernment, the natural world, and a lived question.
Understand the idea
First name both letter qualities and the established Gate order. Then hold the same pairing in five contexts: Soul / David asks about inner experience; Body and relationship / Solomon asks about lived connection; Wisdom and kingship / Ecclesiastes asks about judgement and responsibility; the natural-world lens offers an observed analogy; the personal lens brings the study to a question you can act on. These are Babylon’s interpretive lenses. An analogy does not establish a physical law or an exclusive historical meaning.
An example to work with
For Aleph–Bet, inner experience asks what intention needs room. Relationship asks whether a shared routine serves the people inside it. Discernment asks when a boundary supports the purpose. A seed and its growing space offer an analogy. The lived question is: which container will I adjust this week?
Does the pairing remain recognizable in each context?
Part of Babylon’s authored teaching framework. Symbolic correspondences offer a language for reflection and learning.
