Numbered Minors and court cards

Forty numbered cards and sixteen court cards make the fifty-six Minors.

Understand the idea

The numbered Minors are ten station numbers across four suits: 10 × 4 = 40. The courts add four ranks in four suits: 4 × 4 = 16. Together with the 22 Majors, the deck has 78 cards. In Babylon’s reviewed Arcana teaching, King is associated with Atziluth, Queen with Beriah, Knight with Yetzirah, and Page with Assiah within each suit. This rank-and-World layer differs from the numbered station selection in the current daily protocol. A Sun–Moon station selects four numbered cards; it does not select a court rank.

MAKE IT PRACTICAL

An example to work with

Station 3 selects Three of Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles. It does not select the third court rank. Explain the station rule before adding the separate court layer.
