Psychology and healing: the source register

See which resources were read, the type of evidence they provide and where Babylon’s authored interpretation begins.

What has actually been reviewed

The entries below distinguish clinical education, public health information, one original research abstract and Babylon’s own source material. This is not an exhaustive systematic review. No clinical trial or validation of the Healing app or the Juice Box method is established by these links.

Neff & Germer · 2013 · self-compassion programme

Original research · abstract reviewed · Small randomized study of a different programme; no validation of Babylon’s method or app.

American Psychiatric Association · What are Personality Disorders?

Clinical education · Selected narcissistic and antisocial patterns; distinction from an informal label.

MedlinePlus · Personality Disorders

Public health education · Context for enduring patterns, assessment and care.

NHS · Personality disorders

Clinical public information · Multifactorial causes and professional care; no ruler-based diagnostic claim.

Cleveland Clinic · psychopathy and sociopathy terminology

Mark 7:20–23

Gospel passage · NABRE / USCCB · Sexual wrongdoing appears alongside other harmful conduct; search-accessible source passage reviewed.

1 Corinthians 13:1–13

Paul’s letter · NABRE / USCCB · Love and spiritual gifts; search-accessible chapter reviewed.

Matthew 15:1–20

Gospel passage · NABRE / USCCB · Uprooting image in a dispute about teaching and defilement; not the quoted sentence about becoming one’s wound.

How a future study will be added

A research entry should record its authors, title, year, study design, population, main finding and relevant limitations. Its Babylon correspondence must be written separately. A similarity of language is not evidence that a spiritual model causes or treats a condition. The source should remain inspectable, and any uncertainty should stay visible.

What remains open

Further psychology topics and original research studies remain to be reviewed. So do any proposed one-to-one clinical mappings and a complete fresh test of the Healing app. This register makes those limits visible rather than treating unreviewed topics as completed evidence.

Never hurt a victim

Never hurt a victim. Never blame, shame or pressure a person who has been harmed. If the root is uncertain, do not invent it, announce a spiritual cause or claim authority to heal it. Offer support within your competence and respect the person’s choices. Uncertainty about a cause must not delay appropriate professional care. Abuse is the responsibility of the person who commits it, never the person harmed.

Care and the limits of this resource

This is spiritual education and a reflection resource. Clinical diagnoses require professional assessment; the Healing app and symbolic correspondences are not diagnostic tests or established treatments. Persistent distress, impaired daily life or concern about safety is a reason to seek appropriate professional support. A person’s worth does not depend on a diagnosis or on accepting Babylon’s interpretation.

Learning in the Light

In Babylon, the Father’s light opens perspective, learning and a chosen next step. Your worth remains intact. Every person is sovereign, with dignity, freedom and room to grow.
