A first lesson in the Babylon reading method
Follow the current collective protocol from stated inputs to a calculation, a human question, and a practical close.
Babylon teaching · Faith and authorship
Every person is sovereign.
Every person is sovereign. Each reader keeps their own judgement, dignity, and freedom of choice. Teaching offers room to question an interpretation, disagree, and choose a considered action.
Begin with the purpose
The reading is offered within Babylon’s devotion to the Father and Yeshua. Its public learning method begins with a human question and keeps the person’s choice central. A calculation supplies an address in the teaching map; the reflective account asks how a quality can be expressed. Keep what was measured, what was calculated, and what was interpreted clear enough for another learner to examine.

For a real reading, record the date, time zone, UTC instant, ephemeris provider, coordinate frame, zodiac convention, precision, and node convention. Obtain the required positions for that same instant. The current collective method uses tropical geocentric ecliptic longitudes. A chart from another time or a rough remembered position cannot establish the inputs for the chosen instant. The practice example below uses invented longitudes and is not a current sky report.

The forward arc is D = (Moon longitude − Sun longitude + 360°) mod 360°. Station = floor(D ÷ 36°) + 1. Use the forward arc to select the station. The shortest angular separation answers a different question and is used when assessing aspects. Keep precision through the calculation and state boundary and conjunction rules. The learning checker accepts up to six decimal places, treats exact equality as zero, and applies no near-conjunction tolerance.

Take an invented Sun longitude of 197.36° and Moon longitude of 277.36°. Their forward arc is 80°. Dividing by 36 gives a whole-number part of 2, so the selected station is 3 / Binah / FORM. Read that number through the four Worlds: what is taking form in will, feeling, thought and language, and material action? The four Threes provide those four study lenses.

The five moving rulers are Bet / Saturn, Gimel / Jupiter, Dalet / Mars, Peh / Venus, and Resh / Mercury. Sun and Moon have separate roles. Ruler and node stations are supporting activations, not replacements for the primary Sun–Moon station. Assess a paired Gate’s geometry from actual positions and a stated orb. A solar Name segment uses the adopted five-degree convention; a Name remains a gift in the current teaching.

For the hypothetical Station 3 example, ask what is becoming clearer enough to take form. A teacher preparing a lesson might name an intention, a feeling to hear carefully, an explanation to revise, and a practical resource to build. These are original example prompts, not claims about what every person is experiencing. Invite the learner’s own account and allow disagreement to refine the explanation.
Explore the connected lesson ↗Close with SEE → SAY → DO
SEE names an observation. SAY gives it clear language. DO chooses a proportionate action. For the lesson example: notice that beginners cannot follow an assumed term; state the definition the lesson needs; add the definition and ask someone to explain it back. Record what you will review after the action. Teachers can work through the handbook’s exercises and use the resource pack to prepare their own session.
